The Prosecutor General's Office has issued summonses to former Prime Minister Mykola Azarov (Read more: Nikolai Azarov. The Survivor. Part 1) and his son, Alexey Azarov. Photocopies of the summonses were published on the Prosecutor General's Office website.
The summons requires Azarov Sr. to appear at the Prosecutor General's Office at 14:00 PM on August 9, 2016, to participate in the proceedings. His son, Oleksiy Azarov, is also summoned to appear at the Prosecutor General's Office on August 9, 2016, but at 16:00 PM.
Prosecutor General's Office investigators want to question the Azarovs' son and father in connection with the illegal seizure of property from Ukrgazvydobuvannya and Ukrnafta.
