Is the Prosecutor General's Office deliberately delaying the opening of cases against Yanukovych's accomplices?

GPUUkrainska Pravda made an official request to the Prosecutor General's Office regarding charges against former officials close to the Yanukovych "family." The Prosecutor General's Office responded that Oleksandr Yanukovych, Andriy Klyuyev, and Vitaly Zakharchenko had been placed under suspicion, while the notorious Yuriy Ivanyushchenko and Oleksandr Yefremov were still being "investigated."

As stated in the official response of the Prosecutor General's Office: "At present, Yanukovych A., Klyuev A. and Zakharchenko V. have been notified of suspicion. An investigation is being conducted with regard to Yuriy Ivanyushchenko and Alexander Yefremov regarding the theft of state property."

It was previously reported that the European Union could lift sanctions against Yuriy Ivanyushchenko, an associate of former President Yanukovych, due to the lack of criminal cases against him.
