The Pechersk District Court has imposed seizures on the property of foreign companies associated with the former Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, reports press office Office of the Prosecutor General.

"In order to implement measures to manage the seized property, the court also granted the petition of the State Bureau of Investigation investigator to transfer it to the National Agency of Ukraine for the Identification, Tracing, and Management of Assets Obtained from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA).
A ban on alienation and disposal has been imposed on three apartments, six garages in central Kyiv, four residential buildings, and 24 land plots.
The arrest was imposed in a criminal case that is investigating the circumstances of the former Minister of Internal Affairs’ financing of the activities of a criminal organization created by the former President of Ukraine, the execution of financial transactions and deals with funds and property obtained by criminal means, as well as actions aimed at concealing their illegal origin, location, movement, transformation (change of their form), including by converting non-cash funds into cash, the acquisition of real estate and its transfer abroad to controlled foreign companies (Part 3 of Article 209, Part 3 of Article 212, Parts 1, 2, 3, 4 of Article 358, Part 2 of Article 28, Part 3 of Article 212 and other articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the statement reads.
