The website of the international news agency Vector News (headquartered in Kyiv) was subjected to a DDoS attack. The attack began at 12:42 p.m. Kyiv time.
Sergey Kozlov, CEO of Vector News, reports that due to a large-scale and ongoing attack, the site may periodically crash completely, display content incorrectly, and experience slow performance.
The suspected cause of the attack is photo report from Donetsk, which was not recommended for viewing by persons under 16 years of age.
As a reminder, the highest number of DDoS attacks in recent years occurred during the 2012 elections in Crimea. Access to all opposition websites, including the official website of the Party of Regions, was disrupted.
