Integral Bank is bankrupt

bankBy its decree, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) classified Integral Bank as insolvent. This announcement was published on the regulator's website.

The National Bank declared Integral Bank a problem bank in August of this year. The commission later found violations of the law at the financial institution. Due to a lack of funds, Integral Bank failed to fully and timely fulfill the legal demands of creditors and depositors. In turn, the financial institution's shareholders failed to take timely measures to provide financial support to the bank.

As a reminder, the National Bank previously introduced a cluster-based approach to supervision of Ukrainian financial institutions. Under these new regulations, all banks are divided into clusters. Each category (cluster) will be assigned separate regulatory oversight regimes.
