Yesterday, October 20, Petro Poroshenko signed decrees dismissing three members of the National Commission for Financial Services. One of them, Yuriy Nazarenko, resigned due to retirement. The other two, Serhiy Biryuk and Andriy Lytvyn, resigned voluntarily. These members submitted their resignations before the "Law on the Purification of Government" came into force.
Maksym Polyakov, acting head of the National Commission for Regulation of Financial Services Markets, currently heads the National Commission for Regulation of Financial Services Markets. As a reminder, the head of the National Commission for Regulation of Financial Services Markets was included on the People's Front party list, headed by current Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk. Maksym Polyakov is number 39 on the list.
There's also no word yet on the dismissal of another department member, Viktor Berlin. Although Berlin is on the Cabinet of Ministers' proposed list of "lustrated" officials.
