Interfax-Ukraine quotes: "A paid and free amnesty is being discussed. We propose a free one," said Oleksandr Shlapak, presenting the tax reform at the opening of the Cabinet of Ministers meeting.
At the same time, the minister noted that it is proposed to introduce a new progressive tax scale for personal income: 20% for income from 500 hryvnias to 1 million, and 25% for income over 1 million hryvnias.
As is known, personal income is currently taxed at 15% for income up to 10 minimum wages and 17% for income above 10 minimum wages (12,18 thousand hryvnia per month and 146,156 thousand per year).
