The Cabinet of Ministers has broken an important deal on Crimea.

The Cabinet of Ministers terminated the agreement with Russia on the joint construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait.

This was announced by Ukrainian Cabinet Minister Ostap Semerak during a briefing. According to him, a diplomatic communication of intent, in accordance with the terms of the agreement, was sent to Russian representatives six months before the actual termination.
"I am convinced that Russia is not our brother, not a distant relative, not even a friendly neighbor. And there will be no joint projects that could create a friendship corridor until the annexation of Crimea and the conflict in which Russian troops are participating on Ukrainian territory are completed," Semerak stated.
As reported, the agreement with the Russian Federation on the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait was approved on January 30, 2014.
