On September 15, the Odesa City Council's Road Management Department awarded a tender for routine street and road maintenance. Evrodor LLC was the contractor, and the cost was 2,97 million hryvnias, according to Nashi Groshi.
According to the contract, the work must be completed by the end of the year, but the warranty period is not specified in the documents. The renovation area is 4735 square meters, meaning the cost per square meter is approximately 626 hryvnias, significantly exceeding the average market price. On the same day, the city executive committee's housing and utilities department entered into a similar agreement at a price of 344 hryvnias per square meter.
It's worth noting that Eurodor is owned by Gevorg Avetisyan. His father, Artak, is a member of the Izmail District Council from the Party of Regions, where he chairs the standing committee on economics, regulatory policy, industry, construction, transport, and communications.
The company had previously won contracts in the region totaling over 175 million hryvnias. Evrodor's competitor was Viktor Gnezdilov's SK Avtostroy LLC, with the difference being only 0,4%. It's worth noting that Gnezdilov's name is associated with Odesa MP Gennady Chekita and the mayor of Odesa. Gennady Trukhanov.
