Thanks to a court decision from September 30, 2015, the fugitive former vice speaker and former senior official of the customs service, Igor Kaletnik (Read more: Igor Kaletnik. "became notorious" for a scam that allowed him to transfer approximately $7 million to Russia, where he subsequently fled justice. But this didn't stop him from filing a lawsuit, demanding that the court compel his own employees to remove information about his position and the amount of embezzled funds from the Unified Register of Court Decisions.
The reason why the administrative courts agreed to satisfy his demands was not disclosed; it is only known (from the decision of the Kyiv Administrative Court of Appeal dated May 12, 2016) that they, by virtue of their authority, obliged the administrators of the court registry to purge and remove from public access his account numbers and the name of the position he previously held.
