The National Television Council filed a lawsuit to revoke the digital licenses of five legal entities broadcasting under the logo of the 112.Ukraine TV channel. The decision was made today.
These companies include TV-Vybor, Partner-TV, Novy Format, Ariadna-TV, and Lider-TV. However, the channel's management stated that its satellite broadcasting license is in order.
Previously, the TV channel was denied a renewal of its broadcasting license, and later, according to the National Council portal, the Kyiv District Administrative Court refused to satisfy 112.Ukraine's request to annul this decision.
It's worth noting that six television companies operate under the "112.Ukraine" brand, one of which has satellite broadcasting access, while the others operate on the MX-5 digital multiplex. The channel maintains an informational focus, although its license only allows it to broadcast entertainment content.
The channel's management is demanding an expansion of its programming concept and accuses the National Council of pressuring it.
