The Radio Broadcasting, Radio Communications, and Television Concern (KRRT) has denied information released by MP Sergei Kaplin of the BPP that the concern's head, Vladimir Ishchuk, received his post through bribery.

Ishchuk's statement stated that he was demanding that Kaplin be held accountable for defamation and that criminal proceedings be instituted for interference in the activities of a public figure, knowingly making false reports of a crime, and abuse of power or official position. The Committee on Trade and Reform also stated that this was an attempt to discredit the Concern's management by linking it to "Yanukovych supporters."

It should be noted that Kaplin previously published on Facebook a ruling by the Kyiv Pechersky District Court, according to which Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk was accused by Kaplin of accepting a $3 million bribe from Ishchuk for his appointment as CEO of the State Committee on Radio and Television of Ukraine.

In turn, the court ordered the commencement of a pre-trial investigation into this case, but no official results have yet been released.
