Kyivgaz complains to Poroshenko and Klitschko about attacks on the company

KievgazToday, the staff of PJSC Kyivgaz addressed an open letter to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and the city's mayor, Vitali Klitschko.

The team is asking government officials to intervene in a corporate conflict surrounding the company. The dispute concerns an information war waged against the company for several months. Provocative statements, threats, and calls for a physical takeover of the facility have been made. The document calls this "mass media terrorism."

Furthermore, the team is reportedly overall satisfied with the company's financial performance, the volume of investments (over 100 million hryvnias) in reconstructing the city's gas networks, and the reduction in the number of accidents. The absence of tax and gas debts is also noted.

The letter also states that the shareholders' meeting of the company's majority shareholder, KyivEnergoHolding PJSC, was held last summer in violation of the law. KyivEnergoHolding's management was accused by Kyivgaz employees of attempting to change the company's supervisory board.

The media have already labeled these facts as a corporate raider attack on the company.
