Kyrylo Tymoshenko's house in a cottage community
Just before the New Year holidays, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, gave his wife, Alena, a New Year's gift worth 10 million hryvnia.
A young official acquired a country estate near Kyiv, and was the first to report this "Country". The estate is registered in the wife's name.

We captured exclusive footage of the president's ally's new property and discovered that the 354-square-meter house is located in the "Alpiyka" cottage community along the Novoobukhovskaya Highway near the village of Podgortsy. The Tymoshenko family had been eyeing this cottage since last summer, and the two-story house, part of the "Salzburg" project, was registered in the name of the deputy head of the Office of the President's wife.

In early January, we noticed that the house was still uninhabited and the grounds were unimproved. So we decided to revisit the Alpiyka cottage community, where Tymoshenko's property is located. To get a bird's-eye view, we launched a drone.

The first thing that catches the eye is the "for sale" sign, which has never been removed. But in mid-July, two small plots of land, totaling 6 square meters, directly adjacent to the house, were registered in Tymoshenko's wife's name. And on January 2, 2021, the couple purchased another 27 square meters of land there, as well as the mansion itself.
All of this cost Kyrylo about 10 million hryvnias, give or take. This figure is calculated by multiplying the area of the purchased house by the price per square meter of detached houses currently available for sale in the same village: $1000-1300, or approximately 28,000-37,000 hryvnias (at the NBU exchange rate). This figure also includes the cost of the land.
Now the fence that separates the site from the road has been partially dismantled; apparently, a new one will be built.
The area is indeed being gradually improved. The yard has been cleared of mountains of construction debris, and weeds and overgrowth have been cut.

We also noticed that the yard had many well-trodden paths and tire tracks, and the entrance to the property was cleared right down to the asphalt.
Apparently, the curator of the "Big Construction" project is also starting his own "big construction" project, as a small house for repairmen, approximately 10 square meters in area, has been erected in the courtyard near the cottage.
Because of the snow cover, it is difficult to see whether the area has been covered with a perfectly flat and green lawn.

It's worth noting that, judging by his asset declaration, Kyrylo Tymoshenko can afford such a purchase. Moreover, the house and land aren't the only major purchases Tymoshenko has made since his appointment to the Presidential Administration. In the summer of 2019, he purchased a BMW X5 crossover for 2,640,653 hryvnias.
