Former Yanukovych adviser Andriy Portnov suggested on his Facebook page that Poroshenko's team had already begun bribing voters. Portnov recalled that the President of Ukraine, at the joint congress of UDAR and the BPP, loudly declared an impending fight against "violators of electoral law":
"...violators of electoral law will be dealt with more harshly, no matter what party cards they may have. I am convinced that 'Marshal Grechka' should never again participate in Ukrainian elections," Poroshenko said, referring to the distribution of buckwheat to voters," writes the former presidential adviser.
However, according to Portnov, Poroshenko's loud statement was already neutralized by the actions of the new leader of the party (joint with the BPP), Vitali Klitschko.
These are:
"To realize its new political goals, at this same congress of the presidential party, its new leader, Vitali #Klitschko, was elected.
I don't know whether this is due to the Kyiv mayor's high intellectual abilities or the exceptional cynicism of Petro Poroshenko, but the new leader of the presidential party immediately announced free English courses for all Kyiv residents.
And to ensure there's no doubt that bribing Kyiv residents with free courses is somehow connected to the Kyiv elections coming up in two months, the Kyiv mayor has introduced English courses for exactly two months, both to highlight the full power of his genius and to act in light of the decisions of the "party and government."
