Klitschko's colleagues at the Kyiv City State Administration are awarding themselves monthly bonuses of up to 22 hryvnias.

kghaKyiv City State Administration officials receive monthly bonuses of between 10 and 22 hryvnias, according to City Council member Oleksandr Vovchenko, who posted this information on his Facebook page.

 

The deputy reported that the head of the Kyiv City State Administration's Department of Municipal Property, who has held this position since November 5, 2014, has already received bonuses totaling over 25 hryvnias. His subordinates received approximately 10 hryvnias each in financial assistance in October 2014. These same employees received bonuses of approximately 22 hryvnias each in December 2014.

Oleksandr Vovchenko also reported that the heads of the Housing and Utilities Department at Klitschko City Hall each receive monthly bonuses of 2 to 5 hryvnias. In December 2014, they received an additional 10 hryvnias in addition to their existing allowances. Meanwhile, the heads of the Kyiv City State Administration's Department of Culture received bonuses ranging from 290 to 6018 hryvnias.

 

The deputy wrote that he is not opposed to rewarding deserving managers if they save budget funds or demonstrate outstanding performance. However, the largest bonuses go to the heads of the Department of Municipal Property, who have repeatedly submitted questionable decisions regarding the transfer of municipal property to private ownership for parliamentary approval.
