The staff of Spetstekhnoexport is demanding an investigation into the activities of the former director, who may have been working for the Russian Federation.

The Spetstechnoexport team demands an investigation into the activities of the former director.

The staff of the state-owned enterprise Spetstechnoexport has appealed to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin, and other officials, calling for an end to the dismissal of the state enterprise's director, Yevhen Larin, and his deputies, and an investigation into his possible involvement in cooperation with Russia, bribery, and anti-state activities during the war. This is stated in a letter from the Spetstechnoexport staff to the head of state, which is in their possession. Mirrors of the Week.

Subsequently, the collective letter disappeared from the publication’s website and a message appeared: “We apologize to our readers. The information is being updated. Editorial" And the title of the message changed to "A conflict arose at Spetstechnoexport. The team wrote a letter”, reports Ukrrudprom.

The company's employees note that Yevgeny Larin and most of the directors of its departments, divisions, and sections left Ukraine at the start of the war under the pretext of business trips and have not returned to work since. Meanwhile, they have been receiving substantial compensation for their "business trips," even though Spetstekhnoexport is essentially run by rank-and-file specialists.

During this time, Yevhen Larin and his deputy, Posmitny, have already become defendants in a criminal case involving the resale of bulletproof vests that were donated to Ukrainian military personnel as humanitarian aid. However, attempts are being made to close the case using the suspects' connections within the Security Service of Ukraine.

"The team is convinced that E. Larin is being 'covered' by D. Shmigal and A. Yermak, something Larin himself has repeatedly bragged about while intoxicated," the signatories of the petition note.

At the same time, S. Posmitny, according to the company's staff, is being "covered" by a member of the Opposition Platform - For Life party, which is banned in Ukraine. Vadim Novinsky, who, in particular, lobbied for Larin's appointment to the position of leader.

"One can only imagine what contracts and secrets the aggressor country knew about, and why STE significantly reduced its results in signing new contracts under the leadership of E. Larin and S. Posmitny," the statement notes.

In particular, the company is outraged the failure of a contract to supply AN-178 aircraft to Peru.

Despite the fact that in July, Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov dismissed Yevhen Larin, Director of the State Enterprise Spetstekhnoexport, and Vadym Nozdrya, General Director of the State Corporation Ukrspetsexport, from their positions, the company is wary of their return. Specifically, they see the reason transfer of the State Enterprise to the jurisdiction of the Main Intelligence Directorate.

"Mr. President, I'm sorry, but this detective story must end. E. Larin and S. Posmitny must be punished and convicted for their anti-state actions, particularly during a war," the statement reads.

Spetstekhnoexport employees are also asking for the dismissal of department heads, directorates, and divisions who have been holed up abroad since the start of the war, and for the reopening of criminal investigations into the company's management, which have been "put under wraps."

As a reminder, on July 29, 2022, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov dismissed the heads of the largest state-owned specialized arms trade enterprises: Vadym Nozdrya from his position as General Director of Ukrspetsexport State Enterprise and Yevhen Larin from his position as Director of Spetstekhnoexport State Enterprise. The grounds for the dismissals were the terms of the contracts concluded by the officials and the disruption of deliveries.

In March, by government decision, the enterprises were excluded from the State Concern Ukroboronprom and transferred to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. They were tasked with importing weapons and military equipment for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations.
