Oligarch Igor Kolomoisky paid substantial bonuses to foreign top managers of PJSC Ukrnafta to promote his interests, according to RBC.

According to contract data, for example, Belgian Peter Vanhecke earned between $3 million and $5,25 million annually, while his deputy, Mikhail Bakunenko, earned $1,75 million. Under Vanhecke's contract, he received a $3 million fixed bonus and an annual $2,25 million bonus. The latter was awarded if minority shareholders were satisfied with his performance.

In addition, Vanhecke was promised a $9 million bonus for the successful initial public offering on the international stock exchange, and his family received corporate health insurance.

Alan Sutton, appointed the company's Director of Economics and Planning in June 2011, earned a lower salary, but still quite a good one: $350 per year plus an annual bonus of $150. He would also receive an additional $350 if Ukrnafta went public. Sutton also received $2,4 in rent.
