On September 1, following a tender, Kyivpastrans entered into several agreements for the supply of 5 million liters of diesel fuel. The contracts were valued at UAH 64,86 million, according to the Public Procurement Bulletin.
The selected suppliers were Intex Com LLC, owned by Dmytro Machnev, Yevhen Kost, and Serhiy Khozha (26,10 million UAH), as well as Vog Aero Jet LLC, part of the group of the late MP Ihor Yeremeyev (38,76 million UAH). Fuel was ordered at prices of 13,05 and 12,9 hryvnias per liter, respectively, which is very low for the Ukrainian market. Moreover, the pricing policy is in line with global standards, as prices have fallen in Europe as well.
However, according to the Public Procurement Bulletin, in other cases diesel fuel prices were significantly higher or hidden. Specifically, Zakarpattyaoblenergo purchased fuel at 16,50 UAH/liter, Kharkiv Heating Networks at 15,79 UAH/liter, Poltavaoblenergo at 19,50 UAH/liter, and Pervomayskvugillya at 20,29 UAH/liter.
Meanwhile, Rinat Akhmetov's DTEK companies declared tender prices almost twice as high as market prices. Specifically, diesel fuel was purchased at 24,60 hryvnias per liter, and gasoline at approximately 25 hryvnias per liter.
