On March 30 and 31, Kharkiv CHPP-5 PJSC amended its agreement with Ukristgaz LLC. This agreement concerned the purchase of M-100 heating oil, and the amendments increased the price from UAH 132,92 million to UAH 361,56 million, according to the Public Procurement Bulletin.
It's important to note that this agreement was signed in February and provided for the supply of 10 tons of fuel oil at a price of UAH 8998 per ton. However, only 1200 tons were delivered. The volume was subsequently increased to 14,4 tons, and the price to UAH 9252 per ton. Interestingly, the price both before and after the increase was double the market average.
Currently, the third iteration has been produced – 24713 tons at a price of 9252 hryvnia per ton, which led to an increase in the final amount.
In 2012, Ukristgaz acquired Kharkiv Thermal Power Plant-5. At the time, the company was rumored to be connected to the circles of Yuriy Boyko and Dmytro Firtash. The company was headed by Volodymyr Krupko, the son of former Cabinet Minister Petro Krupko, who has been linked to Yulia Tymoshenko.
The company "Ukristgaz" itself belongs, according to documents, to the Austrian company "Eatons Holding GmbH", which itself belongs to Natural Resources Fund, LLC Lisichansky Voda, LLC Rubezhansky Voda, Vitaly Levchenko, Evgeny Tyutyunnikov, Chemical-Industrial Alliance, Direns Ventures Limited, Town Service, which is owned by the offshore companies "San Posidanius Investments Limited" (Cyprus) and "Ithuba Natural Resources Fund" (Cayman Islands).
The beneficiary of Kharkiv CHPP-5 is listed as Cypriot Dimitris Ioanidis, who is Vadim Novinsky's partner in Azov Petroleum LLC. Ukristgaz also owns 75% of Volynoblenergo OJSC. Another 21% of the shares are held by Garensia Enterprises Limited (Cyprus). The media has linked the latter company to Russian businessman Konstantin Grigorishin.
It's also worth noting that Bogdan Kurennoy represented Ukristgaz at the last shareholders' meeting, while Vitaly Levchenko and Evgeny Tyutyunnikov served on the supervisory board. The latter's name is associated with Lisichansky Voda LLC and Rubezhansky Voda LLC (the founder), while Tyutyunnikov's partner was Chemical-Industrial Alliance LLC, owned by Dirence Ventures Limited (Cyprus) and Anton Chernetsov. They also own Town Service LLC. All of these companies are in one way or another connected to Yuriy Boyko's circle.
