On August 25, the Northern Electric Power System of the State Enterprise NEC Ukrenergo signed an agreement with Energy Service LLC for the reconstruction of a 330-kilovolt substation in the Kharkiv region. The agreement is valued at 10 million hryvnias.

New SF6 circuit breakers and current transformers are planned to be installed there by the end of the year, along with all necessary construction and electrical work. It's worth noting that the transaction cost almost doubled the originally planned 5,6 million rubles.

Energy Service LLC is registered in Cyprus, and its beneficiaries are four offshore companies. The company is managed by Yuriy Pechura. The procurement department of NEC Ukrenergo is headed by Igor Vinnikov, the former head of Energy Service LLC. Incidentally, Energy Service's only competitor is Promatom LLC, also registered to Cyprus offshore companies.

It's worth noting that Energy Service won tenders over the course of three years in the Luhansk, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Poltava regions, where the regional power company is owned by Russian oligarch and businessman Konstantin Grigorishin. The total value of the tenders exceeded 378 million hryvnias. Promat also received contracts from Grigorishin's regional power company, with the total value of the contracts exceeding 452 million hryvnias.
