Telecommunications group Vega is in talks with 10 providers regarding their acquisition. This is expected to occur in the first half of 2016.
According to the company's CEO, Murat Chinar, in 2015, Vega already acquired the Odesa operator Comstar and the Zhytomyr company MyLan Plus. The remaining projects are "under evaluation."
Chinar stated that one of the main criteria is the need for the networks of providers and Vega to not overlap. It has not yet been announced which providers Vega is interested in.
As a reminder, the Vega Group is part of businessman Rinat Akhmetov's SCM holding company and is one of the largest non-state operators in the fixed-line communications market in Ukraine.
