In August of this year, Eximol LLC became Ukraine's largest importer of additives and intermediate oil refining products.
This month, 17,6 tons of additives were imported into Ukraine, 5,7 tons of which were gas condensate and isopentane fraction. All of this was imported by Eximol.
The substances are stored on leased land at an oil depot in Myronivka (Kyiv Oblast). The SBU previously reported the presence of an illegal petroleum product production facility at the depot, and earlier, in March, the agency seized 6 chemical substances from Eximol.
It's worth noting that additives and intermediate products from petroleum refining can be used, among other things, in the illegal production of motor fuel. It's also worth noting that the company was founded by Vitaliy Logvinenko from Nova Kakhovka. He is known as an inventor of drinking water and air purification. His co-authors include Petro Talanchuk, Nikolai Monastyrev, and Igor Yakovlev, all of whom have become prominent figures in Ukrainian politics.
In particular, Yakovlev is known as the deputy chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration and a member of parliament on the BPP party list in the last elections. Talanchuk served as the Minister of Education from 1992 to 1994 and also ran for president in 94. Monastyrev, meanwhile, headed the Research Institute of Ecology and Alternative Energy, which is part of the University of Ukraine. Incidentally, all three are associated with the latter institution.
Also, during registration, Eximol LLC indicated a telephone number that matched the telephone number of Lot Invest LLC, which imports fuel components.
