Poroshenko-Svinarchuk's Bogdan Motors was denied another trolleybus order due to violations.

Bogdan MotorsThe Sumy municipal enterprise "Electroavtotrans" has cancelled a tender for the purchase of nine new trolleybuses.

On March 31, Elektroavtotrans accepted the offer from Bogdan Motors, or more precisely, its Lutsk plant. This company, as a reminder, is owned by Oleg Gladkovsky (formerly Svinarchuk). The decision to decline was made due to the company's failure to correct legal violations.

The contract was to be worth UAH 36,126 million, including VAT. According to the documents, nine high-capacity low-floor trolleybuses were to be delivered by the end of the year.

In addition to Bogdan Motors, the tender also included Elektrontrans Joint Venture (Lviv, bidding at UAH 45,9 million), STG Engineering (Kyiv, representing LAZ trolleybuses, bidding at UAH 31,41 million), and Metayurservis (Kryvyi Rih, bidding at UAH 47,52 million). However, the Kyiv bid, which was cheaper, was cancelled due to a tax debt of UAH 49.

It should be noted that Sumy previously purchased 10 trolleybuses from Bogdan Motors for a total of 34,7 million hryvnias (3,47 per unit), while in the new tender the price was 4,014 million hryvnias per unit.
