Residents of the village of Priozernoe, located in the Kiliya district of the Odessa region, are defending the interests of the Rodina cooperative, which is being seized by raiders. Most of the village's residents work for this cooperative.
A group of so-called "rural activists" reportedly rallied some villagers to protest the current leadership of the Rodina cooperative. Later, using corrupt officials and threats, the raiders falsified documents and attempted to seize control of the cooperative.
This enterprise is successful, and during the crisis in our country, it managed to preserve all its property and infrastructure and provide many residents of the village of Priozernoe with well-paid jobs, so the cooperative's employees stood up for it.
Residents of Priozernoe noted that a former village resident, Mikhail Uzun, plans to take over the cooperative. Residents said Mr. Uzun and his supporters have no connection to the farm and, moreover, have a criminal record.
Residents of Priozersk, who have risen to the defense of the cooperative, are asking the current government to protect the cooperative and the interests of the majority of village residents, as raiders have already made several different attempts to seize the cooperative.
