Gennady Korban does not recognize the decision of the UkrOp political council to replace the party's leader, which was made on January 23, 2015. Korban's associate, a member of parliament, wrote about this on his Facebook page. Andrey Denisenko.

Denisenko noted that Gennady Korban confirmed at the court hearing that he is still the leader of the Ukrop party and will not resign. Korban's decision was supported by MPs Valentyn Didych, Oleksandr Dubinin, and Alexander ShevchenkoDidych and Dubinin attended the court hearing in Korban's case.

Korban called on the UKROP party's political council to meet again and elect the most popular candidate as the leader of UKROP. Mr. Korban responded that he had not consented to his resignation as head of the UKROP party's political council.

As a reminder, on January 23, 2015, the UKROP political council elected Denis Borysenko as its new head at a meeting. Mr. Borysenko was instructed to act as head of the UKROP political council until Korban was released from custody.

Denis Borisenko was an assistant to the notorious former MP in the Verkhovna Rada of the previous convocation. Oleg Tsarev, who is known as the leader of the separatist movement in Donbass in early 2014.
