Who carried out the bloody massacre in Osokorki?

Is a Kyiv City Council member connected to the scandalous brawl in Osokorky?

Osokorki massacre

As is known, yesterday in Osokorky, during a rally against yet another controversial construction project, a brawl involving about a hundred police officers occurred. The head of the Darnitsky District Police Department has already been suspended by Interior Minister Arsen Avakov pending an investigation and may be dismissed. However, this does not prevent developers from rebuilding a fence in place of the demolished one. This means the conflict between residents and developers will continue.

In this regard, the portal "My Kyiv" decided to find out who is really behind this construction, and therefore behind the beating of the residents of Osokorky.

According to the documents, the tenant is a certain LLC "Sky-Bud LTD," registered in Kyiv at 15/14 Larisa Rudenko Street, apartment 210. Looking at the founders, we find three names:

1) Vilgin Evgeniy Arkadievich – the amount of contribution to the statutory fund is: 1650000.00 hryvnia;

2) Kotvitsky Sergey Opanasovich - the amount of contribution to the statutory fund is: 1700000.00 UAH;

3) Kravchenko Valeriy Anatolyevich - the amount of contribution to the statutory fund is: 1650000.00 hryvnias

A few words about the first subject. Yevhen Vilgin is a native of Donetsk, born in 1982. From 2003 to 2005, he worked as a lawyer at the Center for Assistance to Small and Medium Business Development in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district. He then went into private business, and is currently a shareholder in another company, Troika Capital Group, which also deals in real estate. The other two individuals involved in this article are also shareholders of this company.

The second character, however, is the most interesting of them all. Let's start with the fact that Serhiy Kotvitsky is a current Kyiv City Council member representing the UDAR party, who was elected in the Darnytsia single-mandate constituency No. 12. Besides Sky-Bud, he also heads the Ukrainian Investment Alliance group of companies. He also serves on the Budget and Socioeconomic Development Committee. In his spare time, he works on issues of "relatively fair" land seizures from Kyiv residents.

The third character, Valery Kravchenko, is the director of the state-owned Scientific Research, Design, and Technological Institute of Urban Economy. The precise activities of this highly important body are unknown, but its director clearly isn't involved in research.

The conclusion is simple and straightforward: the beating of Kyiv residents in Osokorky was not the work of ordinary businessmen, but of public servants—officials and even members of parliament. The police, once again, acted as private security, ready to beat up anyone they could lay their hands on. We've been through this before, haven't we?
