The Presidential Office is dissatisfied with Infrastructure Minister Alexander Kubrakov. The minister has failed to implement the announced reforms, reinstating extortion for sailors and corruption schemes in road repairs during the war. сообщает Telegram channel "Insider UA" writes Bagnet.
"After the searches at the home of Budget Committee head Aristov and the scandal involving the Dnipropetrovsk governor and his fitness trainer, clouds are gathering over Infrastructure Minister Kubrakov. He invested so heavily in the 'Get ready for Shmygal' campaign that he himself believed it. Much like Putin believes his own propaganda," writes Insider UA.
As the publication notes, the minister has reinstated most of the pre-war corruption schemes in the sector under his jurisdiction.
«In reality, however, Kubrakov betrayed the president by failing to implement reforms in the maritime sector and leaving thousands of sailors unemployed. He did, however, reinstate the blatantly criminal scheme of charging them $4-$10 per sailor for document verification. But this is nothing compared to the fact that the Prime Minister, with one foot in his mouth, decided to return to the road scheme during the war."," the post says.
As noted in the publication, during martial law, instead of restoring the destroyed critical infrastructure managed by Oleksandr Kubrakov, the ministry is holding a tender for road reconstruction in peaceful regions worth billions of hryvnias.
