Kursk authorities: Evgeny Titov (left) and Yaroslav Sokolov
Kyiv's Dniprovskyi District Court granted a petition filed by immigration officers to extend the detention period for another six months for identification purposes, while simultaneously holding two Russian citizens at the Volyn Temporary Residence Center for Foreigners (PTSF). These citizens—38-year-old Yaroslav "Yarik" Sokolov, the so-called "overseer" of Kursk, and 41-year-old Yevgeny Titov, aka "Tit"—were rounded up in the Lviv region this spring during a special operation to apprehend 64-year-old Russian citizen Viktor Panyushin, a so-called "thief in law" nicknamed "Pan"/"Vitya Pan," who is wanted by Interpol. These decisions were made on October 28, 2022, by judges Tatyana Savluk and Natalia Chekh, respectively, writes Detective Info.
The text of the announced decisions indicates that, during the hearings of the deserving individuals, their lawyers were provided with notarized statements of intent from Leyla Melesova-Valchak, Chair of the Board of the Public Hope Charitable Foundation, to provide bail for these prominent Russian citizens. A separate petition was also submitted requesting consent to the selection of non-custodial "protective measures" (in the form of personal obligations) for "Tit" and "Yarik," along with the simultaneous imposition of bail of 1 million hryvnias each.

Kursk "authorities" will remain in Ukraine
However, the judges of the Dnieper Palace of Themis unanimously rejected the requests of Vitya Pan's henchmen, ruling to extend the period of detention in the deportation center for each of them.
Detective-Info previously reported that, unlike Panyushin, who, after protracted legal battles, was released this spring and granted a new leniency from extradition to his homeland, Sokolov and Titov (who have been wanted by Russian law enforcement since 2017 in connection with Pan's criminal victories) have spent the last six months in the Volyn PTPI by court order.
(Details of the story that led to the search for "Pan," "Tit," and "Yarik" in Russia can be found in the Detective-Info story dedicated to Viktor Panyushin.)
