Presidential Administration Head Boris Lozhkin is supporting a Russian cigarette manufacturer in the domestic tobacco market. This was reported by BBP MP Leshchenko on his Facebook page.

In his post, Leshchenko cites materials from the American publication Examiner.com. The online publication's article states that 90% of cigarette sales in Ukraine were monopolized by the Russian company Megapolis, whose subsidiary is the Megapolis-Ukraine Trading House, even under the leadership of former President Viktor Yanukovych.

Odesa businessman Boris Kaufman supports Megapolis's Ukrainian subsidiary. As a reminder, on January 12, 2015, activists blocked the warehouse of the Russian company Megapolis-Ukraine Trading House, located in the capital. The activists discovered that Kaufman is listed among the founders of the Ukrainian Megapolis. A representative of the tobacco monopoly, however, neither denied nor confirmed the information that Kaufman owns a stake in the company.

The media has repeatedly reported that businessman Boris Kaufman and the head of the Presidential Administration, Boris Lozhkin, are linked by certain business interests.
