The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) declined to provide details on PrivatBank's recent debt restructuring, according to BPP MP Serhiy Leshchenko, who wrote this on Facebook.
According to him, during Stepan Kubiv's tenure at the National Bank, PrivatBank received billions of hryvnias for stabilization. Meanwhile, Leshchenko claims Kolomoisky is still owed debts to Ukrnafta.
It's worth noting that PrivatBank's debt on NBU refinancing loans amounted to UAH 25,9 billion as of April 1. However, the bank is the largest bank in Ukraine by assets. As a reminder, the bank's largest shareholders are Ihor Kolomoisky and Gennady Bogolyubov.
