Leshchenko: Stavitsky is doing everything he can to get off the international wanted list

StavitskyMP Sergei Leshchenko reported that former Energy and Coal Minister Eduard Stavytsky is attempting to "drop" himself from the international wanted list and is making every effort to close the criminal case against him.

The MP noted that he doesn't understand why Kyiv's Solomensky Court is hearing a case challenging the actions of the Prosecutor General's Office. The Prosecutor General's Office, as is well known, is located in the Pechersky District of the capital, so only judges of the Pechersky District Court can hear all cases against the agency. According to Leshchenko, the judge accepted Stavytskyi's lawyers' complaint for only one reason: "Judge Usatova knows in advance what the right decision is. This is far from the first time that 'left' courts have made the right decisions in favor of billionaires from Yanukovych's entourage."

We wrote earlier that aStavitsky's lawyer decided to file a lawsuit against the Prosecutor General's Office in the European Court of Human Rights because the agency missed the deadline investigation of criminal proceedings against the former Minister of Energy and Coal Industry.
