MP Serhiy Leshchenko stated that Mykola Chaus, a judge of Kyiv's Dniprovsky District Court who was caught taking a bribe, was a "pocket" judge of Petro Poroshenko's Administration.
According to Leshchenko, Chaus was following clear orders from Bankova.
The MP noted that Chaus was caught red-handed because NABU carried out the operation independently of the Presidential Administration.
"Otherwise, law enforcement would not have been able to detain the odious judge," Leshchenko concluded.
As a reminder, Judge Mykola Chaus was arrested while accepting a $150 bribe. However, he remains undetected because the Verkhovna Rada's deputies are on recess, and his arrest is only possible with parliamentary approval.
