Ligacheva and the Telekritika team are launching a new project.

Loho-300x169The Telekritika project is suspending its operations, and its head, Natalia Ligacheva, and her team are leaving the portal. The project's press service announced this.

Yuri Bratanich has been elected head of Telekritika. Natalia Ligacheva and her team will leave the portal on October 30.

According to Alexander Tkachenko, CEO of 1+1 Media, Ligacheva's team plans to develop a new project, while 1+1 Media will be relaunching the Dusya and TK projects.

Ligacheva herself noted that the Telekritika project was created in 2001, and funding came from the West. In 2006, when problems with the portal's development arose, support began to flow from Ukrainian financial circles.

At the same time, according to Anton Onufrienko, the publication's profile will not change significantly. He stated that freedom of speech and quality journalism will remain the project's foundation.
