The head of the Presidential Administration, Boris Lozhkin, controls the newspaper "Ukrainska Pravda," informator.su reported, citing an anonymous source in the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to a source, Lozhkin is President Petro Poroshenko's "overseer" of the media outlet. For control of the publication, the media owner, Olena Prytula, receives a monthly "gratitude" of $200. It is also noted that MP and longtime UP journalist Serhiy Leshchenko, who is associated with Serhiy Lyovochkin and Konstantin Grigorishin, is vying with Lozhkin for influence over the publication.
This standoff between Lozhkin and Grigorishin periodically sparks conflicts. One such conflict is Leshchenko's recent series of publications detailing scandalous facts about Mikhail Beilin, Lozhkin's business partner and the overseer of the Ministry of Transport and the Agro-Industrial Complex. Beilin also oversees the appointments of all management positions at profitable enterprises in these sectors.
