Lyashko's Radical Party faction is leaving the parliamentary coalition. Lyashko announced this to the media on the sidelines of Parliament on September 1.
Lyashko noted that this is the position of his entire faction and that the Radicals are moving into opposition to the government.
Lyashko called yesterday's protest outside the Verkhovna Rada an attempt to discredit those who oppose the amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine. He believes the vote on constitutional amendments marks a new stage of cooperation and, possibly, a new coalition between the BPP, the People's Front, and the Opposition Bloc.
In addition, Oleh Lyashko demanded that the authorities bring the adoption of special status for Donbass to a nationwide discussion.
It also became known that in connection with the Radical Party's withdrawal from the coalition, Deputy Prime Minister Valery Voshchevsky resigned.
Let us recall that on August 31, 265 MPs supported the draft amendments to the Code of Ukraine regarding decentralization.
