Yanukovych's people continue to enrich themselves from the construction of the OKHMATDET children's hospital.

The new building of the OKHMATDET National Center for Centralized Health, costing UAH 2,5 billion, could become a "Potemkin Village," an expensive sham where it will be impossible to treat children.

A unique children's bone marrow transplant clinic, unparalleled in Ukraine, faces the risk of becoming yet another failed project, and this time under the responsibility of the current government.
Journalists reached these conclusions after investigating the financial activities of Ukrmedproektbud and Ukrprofmed, the hospital's general contractor, which, even under the current government, continues to profit at the expense of the health of young Ukrainians.
As a reminder, in August 2011, Ukrmedproektbud signed a UAH 28 million agreement with Ukrprofmed LLC. The private firm agreed to develop design and estimate documentation and conduct engineering preparation for the construction site on the Okhmatdyt campus. However, no competitive tender was held, as Ukrmedproektbud chose the single-bidder procurement procedure.
It should be noted that journalists have repeatedly pointed out the direct connection between the leadership of Ukprofmed and the "family," namely, Yanukovych's eldest son, Alexander.
Irina Koval, the founder and CEO of Ukrprofmed, does not deny that her company shares a legal address with several of Yanukovych's son's companies.
Perhaps this is precisely why, to this day, the activities of this organization remain outside the sight and attention of both regulatory and law enforcement agencies in Ukraine, allowing Ukprofmed to continue to fail to report on the funds allocated for children's needs.
Meanwhile, a financial audit of the equipment and product purchases conducted shows that approximately 40% of the UAH 1,3 billion allocated for these purposes ended up in the pockets of structures and individuals affiliated with Ukrprofmed.
For example, when purchasing the Aquilion ONE 640 CT scanner, the Elekta Synergy S linear accelerator, and computer system hardware alone, Ukprofmed artificially increased the purchase price by 76 million UAH.
In addition, the analysis of design and estimate documentation showed that, according to Specification No. 1 "Diagnostic Equipment", with a total projected purchase volume of UAH 239 million, the maximum possible savings from optimizing the purchase nomenclature and reducing prices could amount to UAH 90 million, and according to Specification No. 3, with a projected purchase volume of UAH 214 million, it could amount to UAH 65 million.
Therefore, if the project continues to be in the hands of , as it is currently being implemented, this will lead to the fact that a significant amount of funds allocated for the completion of the project will not be used for its intended purpose, and the project itself, even if construction is completed, will not be able to be put into operation.
All of this ultimately reflects poorly, to put it mildly, on the image of the current government, which, after the Maidan, abandoned the construction of the national facility, thus "burying" more than 500 million hryvnias of already utilized investments.
It should be understood that Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has every chance of joining the ranks of his predecessors who profited from sick children: V. Yushchenko and the "Hospital of the Future," the new "Okhmatdet" building project, and V. Yanukovych...
