Martynenko asked Sytnyk not to scare him

MartynenkoFormer MP Mykola Martynenko approached NABU Director Artem Sytnyk and asked him to forcibly bring him in for questioning. This was his response to Sytnyk's statement that the former MP could be forcibly brought in for questioning.

Martynenko stated that there is no need to intimidate him, but rather to strive for respect, including on social media. "This psychological atmosphere will help you better focus on fulfilling your main task—the professional organization of the work of an important and progressive body, which is the Anti-Corruption Bureau you lead.", - the former people's representative said in his response.

He also stated that his meeting with a NABU detective is scheduled for January 18. Earlier, as a reminder, Martynenko twice failed to appear for questioning at the National Anti-Corruption Bureau. At the end of December he declared himself ill, and on January 11 he referred to a meeting with the prosecutor in Bern.

So far, NABU has not responded to this demarche.
