Today, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) is interrogating former People's Front MP Mykola Martynenko.
A source within the agency confirmed this. According to the source, Martynenko arrived for questioning this morning; he is being questioned in connection with two cases.
We previously reported that the former MP had previously missed questioning twice, citing illness and then a trip to Switzerland. When NABU head Artem Sytnyk stated that Martynenko could be forcibly brought in for questioning, Sytnyk responded that there was no need to intimidate him.
As a reminder, Martynenko resigned as a member of parliament following a scandal in which he was accused of corruption. He is also being questioned by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) regarding corruption-related incidents.
