Matviychuk is already handing out irons, and Presman is handing out pencil cases.

Odessa politicians are completely engrossed in the election race. Thus, the former governor Eduard Matviychuk moved from distributing buckwheat to irons, and Alexander Presman started distributing pencil cases with the slogan "I do good!"

Eyewitnesses reported this on social networks.
"Friends, we need to go to the buckwheat growers' meetings with voters, or simply show up at their offices, and insistently demand that they spend money not on buckwheat and irons, but on medicine and food for the soldiers," writes Odessa artist and journalist Liliya Klimova on her Facebook page. "We need to insistently demand it. We need to create a Facebook page called 'Buckwheat Planters' and tell everyone who, where, and what among the future deputies is distributing. And then we need to tell everyone how each deputy helped our soldiers. We need to actively conduct an anti-campaign."

As a reminder, Zoya Kazanzhi, an advisor to the Odessa governor, shares the same opinion and asks to lead a movement against "overfed politicians."
