Ukraine International Airlines is among the top three worst airlines in the world.
It received this "high" status based on economy class comfort ratings. The study examined dozens of airlines operating on long-haul routes. The ratings took into account cabin cleanliness, the quality of in-flight meals, the comfort level of passenger seats, and passenger reviews.
The anti-rating was topped by Air Koryo Korean Airways (DPRK), followed by Uzbekistan Airways and UIA in third place. It's important to note that this company is owned by Ihor Kolomoisky, one of Ukraine's richest men.
The State Aviation Service had previously proposed revoking a number of the company's licenses, but this was not done.
