MAU owes the state more than 73 million

mauUkraine International Airlines owes the state budget over 73 million hryvnias in mandatory fees from passengers and cargo shippers.

According to the Cabinet of Ministers' internal investigation into the activities of the State Aviation Service's management, violations were recorded during the granting of airline operating rights. The investigation revealed that UIA's outstanding debts were ignored during the review of their applications.

As of June 16, the company's debt amounted to 73,126,000 hryvnias. Meanwhile, UIA was granted priority over Atlasjet in operating new airlines.

Let us recall that the largest shareholder of MAU is oligarch and businessman Igor Kolomoisky.
