The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Oleksiy Pavlenko's income in 2015 has been revealed. He declared 100,5 hryvnias, almost four times more than in 2014.
His annual salary was 75,4 hryvnias, while the year before, Pavlenko earned only 21,3 hryvnias. In 2015, he also received almost 7 hryvnias in dividends and 18,1 hryvnias in insurance payments. He also has 403,1 hryvnias in bank accounts.
The minister also declared: an apartment of 97,2 square meters, a land plot of 840 square meters, a residential building of 74,9 square meters, a 2010 Lexus LX570 and a 2011 Hyundai i30, a Silver Shark Cabin 605 boat (2003), and a Storm 450 motorboat (2009).
The Pavlenko family members, however, were more productive – they earned a combined 1,8 million hryvnias, of which salaries accounted for only 45,5. Other income included insurance payments – 44,5 hryvnias, property rental income – 647,8 hryvnias, and other income – almost 911 hryvnias. Interestingly, the last item was not disclosed.
The minister's relatives own two apartments of 198 square meters each, three plots of land—134, 699, and 1,5 square meters—a residential building of 418 square meters, and a 757,9-square-meter property. Last year, they were registered in Pavlenko's name.
They also own a 2008 Toyota Rav4, a 2009 Lexus Rx 350, and a 2009 KIA Sorento, with 215,3 hryvnias in their accounts. They also declared a contribution of 346,3 hryvnias to the company's authorized capital.
