Infrastructure Minister Andriy Pivovarsky is covering up a corrupt deal with the TIS company. This statement was made by Maksym Polyakov, a member of parliament from the "Deputy Control" parliamentary group in the Verkhovna Rada.

The MP noted that his group would seek the minister's resignation, as Pivovarsky's unwillingness to protect state interests indicates his direct involvement in a corruption scheme.

Earlier, media reports surfaced that TIS illegally constructed a hydraulic structure near the Yuzhny seaport. Members of parliament from the "Deputy Control" coalition reported that, as a result of agreements between TIS and high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Infrastructure, Ukraine's budget is losing approximately 250 million hryvnias annually. In an interview with RBC, Maksym Polyakov noted that Vladimir Shulmeister, Pivovarsky's first deputy, is directly involved in this corruption scheme. Consequently, Pivovarsky is also "involved in this scheme."
