The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has signed a series of food supply agreements with Visit LLC worth a total of UAH 13,900,000. This was reported on the Nashi Groshi website, citing the November 3 "Bulletin of State Procurement."
Canned porridge with meat and canned meat were ordered for the Ukrainian army. They are expected to reach the Ukrainian military by mid-December of this year. All purchases were made through a negotiated process, as these are urgent needs for the army.
The company "Visit" is registered to sisters Iryna Ugol and Elena Berezyuk. It is located in the city of Uzyn, Kyiv Oblast, Bila Tserkva District. Elena Berezyuk is the wife of Ruslan Berezyuk, a Party of Regions deputy in the Bila Tserkva District Council. Berezyuk, like many of his colleagues, is currently non-partisan. In early 2011, the Berezyuk family owned the association "Ukrprodakord OR."
We would like to remind you that in 2008, Ukrprodakord OR was one of the main suppliers of food supplies to the Ukrainian Army under Minister Mykhailo Yezhel. It was also one of the founders of the Association of Food Enterprises, known as "Army." From its inception until now, it has been headed by Ivan Sikunda. In the 90s and early 2000s, he served as the head of the Main Food Directorate of the Logistics of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of military operations in eastern Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense has entered into food supply contracts with Visit LLC worth UAH 34,510,000.
