Granum Resource won a tender to supply counterfeit spare parts for military aircraft repairs, refurbished in Kyiv's underground workshops, to the Ministry of Defense's A1604 military unit. This was reported by the website "Nashi Groshi," citing a ruling by Kyiv's Pechersky District Court dated December 29, 2015.

Granum Resource is known to have supplied spare parts for military equipment repairs to a military unit located in the village of Chornobaivka in the Kherson region for 148,72 million hryvnias. According to documentation, the supplier purchased these parts from Sofit STS, Sofit SKS, and LZA Prom. However, law enforcement officials have discovered that these companies have no connection to the production of these items.

According to the investigation, Granum Resursa purchased most of the spare parts for military equipment repairs from Amis Group LLC. The parts were manufactured in warehouses at 18 Teplovozna Street in Kyiv. The warehouse turned out to house underground workshops for the restoration of aviation equipment. According to documents provided by Amis Group, the spare parts are either new products or parts that had undergone major repairs at Russian defense enterprises.

During a search of the Amis Group office, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) officers discovered and seized a number of counterfeit seals that had been used to forge passports and quality certificates for aviation equipment. Specifically, one that had been supplied to the Ministry of Defense's Aircraft Unit A1604.

Investigators note that such a multi-million dollar deal could only have been organized by “an employee with influential connections in government agencies.”
