Several premises in central Kyiv were illegally transferred to companies belonging to the brother of former Ukrainian Minister of Education and Science Dmytro Tabachnyk. This was stated in a press release from the Ministry of Education and Science, obtained by RBC-Ukraine.

"The Prosecutor General's Office has received all necessary documents related to the alienation of premises in Kyiv at 37 Sahaidachnoho Street (the premises of the Institute of Innovative Technologies and Educational Content) and 27a Shevchenko Boulevard (the premises of the State Inspectorate of Educational Institutions). The premises were transferred to the balance sheets of state-owned enterprises of the Ministry of Education and Science, then leased to companies controlled by the brother of former Minister Dmytro Tabachnyk, and subsequently privatized," the press release states.

As a reminder, the Security Service is investigating embezzlement of public funds by former ministers during Viktor Yanukovych's presidency, including Tabachnyk.
