The head of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration, Gennady Moskal, demands the immediate resignation of Valeriy Patskan, head of the BPP-Solidarity regional election headquarters.

Gennady Moskal wrote that "yesterday's show at the regional state administration building" was organized by MP Valeriy Patskan and Uzhhorod mayoral candidate Mykhailo Kachur. Besides them, the "show" also included unsuccessful local council candidates, as well as Viktor Baloha's allies. Moskal noted that the "show in the regional state administration building" was organized with one goal in mind: to shift responsibility for the failure of the Uzhhorod mayoral election onto the regional leadership.
The head of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration claims that Mr. Patskan entered into a deal with Kostiantyn Zhevago and wanted to push Mykhailo Kachur, a member of the Zakarpattia Regional Council, into the Uzhhorod mayoral race. Kachur is known to be the director of the Turbogaz plant, which belongs to MP Zhevago. According to Moskal, Kostiantyn Zhevago donated $400 to Kachur's election campaign.
However, Valeriy Patskan "organized Kachur's unsuccessful election campaign and recruited his relatives and friends to the city and regional council lists. But after losing the Uzhhorod election, Mr. Patskan refuses to hand over the money. That's why he staged this whole spectacle, trying to shift the blame for the loss onto me," Gennady Moskal emphasized.
As a reminder, a scandal erupted in the Zakarpattia region yesterday. A group of people led by Valeriy Patskan and Mykhailo Kachur arrived at the regional state administration building. They accused Moskal of large-scale voter fraud in the recent local elections and demanded the governor's resignation and new elections in the region. For his part, the governor of the Zakarpattia region noted that the head of the regional police department had not received a single official complaint about voter fraud. In light of the incident, Moskal is demanding that President Poroshenko immediately resign Valeriy Patskan, who personally orchestrated yesterday's provocation at the regional state administration building, thereby compromising the current government.
