Several MPs and high-ranking officials want to neutralize former journalist Leshchenko's influence on the newspaper "Ukrainska Pravda." This information was published by Ukrainska Pravda editor-in-chief Sevgil Musayeva-Borovyk on her Facebook page.

Musayeva-Borovik noted that she received this information from two sources. The editor-in-chief noted that some high-ranking officials and members of parliament are not interested in Serhiy Leshchenko's publications, which concern the corrupt activities of current government officials.

According to her, a high-ranking meeting took place on Thursday, November 12, to discuss the neutralization of MP Serhiy Leshchenko and his influence on Ukrayinska Pravda. Furthermore, a "mass provocation" is being prepared against activist and journalist MPs, and their phones are being tapped.

Musayeva-Borovik wrote that she would not yet reveal the names of the officials who want to silence Leshchenko and her publication. However, the public should be aware of this, as "all of this is unpleasant and very reminiscent of the period of Yanukovych's presidency, when telephone conversations, correspondence, and photos of journalists and public activists were published."

Musaeva-Borovik advised the current authorities to "spend their free time, opportunities, and resources on matters more beneficial to the country," the editor-in-chief concluded.
