The Ministry of Internal Affairs purchased special signals for the price of an expensive chandelier.

On August 28, the Ministry of Internal Affairs signed an agreement with Signal-Auto LLC for the supply of light signaling devices for police vehicles. The contract was valued at 3,13 million hryvnias, according to Nashi Groshi.
Thus, the price of one module of blue and red signals on liquid crystals or with LEDs was 13,5 thousand hryvnia, which is equal to the cost of an LED chandelier made of Bohemian crystal and brass.

It's worth noting that Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Eka Zguladze previously promised to speak with Japanese suppliers who had previously provided Kyiv with a batch of blue-only flashing beacons free of charge under the Kyoto Protocol. Zguladze stated at the time that the issue was being "worked on," but the Ministry of Internal Affairs ultimately purchased the aforementioned flashing beacons.
It's worth noting that the founders of Signal-Auto LLC are Yuri Shved, Yuri Mikhailov, and Vitaly Krinin. Krinin is also associated with Valentin Ushenko, who owns Skif Ltd. and Effect-K. These companies had a monopoly on Vizir devices for the State Traffic Inspectorate during Yuri Lutsenko's tenure as Minister of Internal Affairs.
